Congrats!

I am the proud father of a 14 month old girl.

I find naming children to be interesting, although it seems our friends all did the pick-one-off-a-list routine.

Mine little one is:

*Annabelle (Ann,Anna,Annie is a family name on both sides of the family)
*Letain (Wife's middle name, in honor of maternal grandfather Rene Letain)
*Katsitsyahawi "She's carrying a flower" (my great aunt's name, she was the matriarch of my family. Per Oneida tradition we named my daughter in her honor.)

BTW, woodmaker is the translation of my name Layenduni, in honor of my grandfather.

All of our kids are named after biblical characters.
* Elizabeth (Mother of John the Baptist, and kinswoman of Mary - with the more common, modern spelling)
* Rebecca (Daughter of Bethuel and sister of Laban; married to Isaac - with the more common modern spelling)
* Gideon (The hero who delivered Israel from oppression by the Midianites in the book of Judges)

AND

* Esther (adopted daughter of Mordecai, Subject of the Book of Esther in the Old Testament).
