Jason, you’re great at this, but the world is full of stories – why spend an ep on a story you obviously don’t like? I’m not arguing that you should like it, just skip it and move to the next one. When you’re doing fun, it’s really fun. Don’t bog yourself down with the tales you just want to argue with. There’s too much fun left to do.
Oh I hope I didn’t come across as not liking it. I definitely enjoyed the first half, with a very human story of a guy going through tragedy while trying to tell himself it was ok. I wasn’t really down with the whole crusader part, but it was pretty interesting and it does go a long way toward telling the medieval mindset toward religious conflict, something we haven’t touched on a whole lot for this podcast.
Why do you care if he likes it. Just request a story if you want him do a specific story. Also why wouldn’t you want him to like the story.
