ok, I was going to say something else about this one, but then the pop culture references in the creature of the week came up, and the self-reference which is also kind of a humbe brag because WHOA I did not remember this podcast has been going on *that* long… yeah, man, this is just great :) Thanks for doing this and ~please~ keep the digressions in, you know I can get the stories elsewhere, but not the silly stuff.
And just one thing, which I’m sure others have already pointed out: why do you call the main character “Doña”? That’s a title, like Don: Don Pedro, Doña Josefa. If you’re getting rid of the titles (as in “Pedro”), she should be just “Josefa”. Of course, this doesn’t affect the quality of the storytelling, but it stood out to me.

Thanks for the note on the name. I should add something in the episode, but the helpful people on Discord made me aware of the doña thing the day after the release. Super embarrassing. I actually had that thought as I was closing my eyes Tuesday night, but chalked it up to the anxiety I always feel when releasing an episode.
I love the story but I wish the link to the source worked so I could learn more about its origin. Amazing storytelling thank you so much for the podcast.
